Preventative & Periodontal disease

We are first and foremost a general practice. We love taking care of our patients oral health and that starts with regular cleanings! We make room for your whole family here from children to elderly. Our goal is to be your family practice, where you come for all of your oral hygiene needs.

Sometimes preventative with a regular ‘prophy’ or regular ‘cleaning’ isn’t quite enough. There are times when periodontal disease can cause us to need to perform something called scaling and root planing. You might have heard this called a ‘deep cleaning’. This happens when plaque hardens and builds up below the gumline. Not every patient has periodontal disease. Our goal is to make sure to catch this before it starts and clean all the bacteria off your teeth before the disease progresses too far.
